Join Lemon Creek Winery for an afternoon of non-stop sizzling blues bands, dancing, wine, great food and summer fun. Blues lovers will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and toe tapping tunes, while you sip on a glass of wine or boogie down on the dance floor. Bring a lawn chair, blanket and snacks (no outside coolers allowed) or enjoy our outdoor seating and selection from one of three available food trucks.
The lineup begins from 12-2pm with The Resurrection Blues Band. Becoming SW Michigan’s premier Blues/Rock show, the Resurrection Blues Band plays relentlessly to reach as many people as possible. Formed in 2018 with founding members Rodney Mills on Vocals & Guitars, Scott Ovens on Drums, & introducing William Stone on the Bass Guitar. Followed up by Bobby Hunt & The Day Drinkers day drinking from 2:30-4:30pm. Bobby Hunt & the Day Drinkers are a group of Michiana blues scene veterans. The band performs original rockin’ blues songs written by singer guitarist Rob Hutt along with Texas, Chicago and West Coast style classic blues.. The rhythm section of Brian Reedstrom on Keyboards and electric Bass along with Boris LaRue on the drums completes the picture. The band is regularly featured on local blues radio and is planning a CD release in the fall of 9 original tunes!
Crook County Blues Band will be headlining the day from 5-7pm. With a passion for the Blues and classic Rock, Crook County Blues Band delivers an authentic Chicago rockin’ blues sound. A taste of their music can be found on their website at www.crookcountybluesband.com.
Patrons will have the opportunity to purchase delicious eats from Pizza Parliament, Tacos Don Chepe, and Diana’s Soul Food Kitchen. Kettle Corn will be available as well, along with farm market and charcuterie style snacks. Wine & cider lovers alike will be able to enjoy wine flights, wine by the glass, ciders and wine slushies.
Admission is $10.00 per person 21 and older, under 21 free when accompanied with family. The gate fee entitles you to admission, parking, wristband for re-entry, and a souvenir wine glass. Tickets are general admission only and available at the gate.
Lawn chairs or blankets are encouraged, dogs are not allowed. No outside alcohol is permitted (outside alcohol will either be confiscated or you will be asked to leave without a refund). This event will run rain or shine. Cancellation will only occur due to severe weather.
